Probably gonna be quick, but heres a ss of some goings on.



Well did some hunting with muddy up on 10. Was a good time ^^ till she had to go get paid! haha maybe she can be a sugar momma =P. Also hunted with someone new, zwarlordz on giran 1st floor. That was new too to hunt there, ive been to 4th once to kill the boss, but thats about it. Hunted to make those 20 BOE's along with help from friends, 18 blew trying for +7 and 2 blew trying for +8. Ahh well ill try again someday. Been solo hunting a lot too, IT5 and TOS mostly. A little FV for fun.

Today im getting a new couch, actually waiting on my friend with a truck to get here to go get it right now. Vacation starts wednesday morning! so hopefully i can level by friday! If not i expect a few kicks in the butt from anyone who actually bothers to read my nonsense =P alright gonna update my XP too =P

Friday

Well lets see, halloween event ended, besides earrings i really didnt get much. Was a mediocre event at best. I spent most of wednesday gathering mats to finish making my 20 bless of elms. out of 20, 2 went +7. Out of those 2 they both went poof! so yea my luck sucked haha. Ah well ill try again some day when i can work to get another 3300 thread and like 800 roughs and kill glar for more ori plates, no way in hell im gonna gather the mith for those, thats in the thousands.

down to about 3m in game x.x ahh well i go on vacation next week so now 53 is my goal, just gonna grind out my last 21% or so. No sieging no wild hunts or anything like that(if i can help it) until im at least 53.050000

After that i think im gonna run HH till i get a damn grail, already ran it well over 100 times(winning that is) and still no grail. Then i gotta get a damn seal ><. I dont really care what doll i get, well ww is kind of useless, so id rather have bb or ss. SS i would actually probably sell and then buy a bb and maybe like a silverwing or something. Knowing my luck ill get a ww though =P

After that hmm who know that will be at least a month, probably close to xmas vacation which ill be spending at my inlaws, and the wife probably wont let me bring my computer... well see about that one...

Oh also i am building a silent blog, been sorta working on that, was gonna devote more time to it yesterday but was actually in the mood to hunt and made 1.5% or so, yea not a lot but i wasnt on a lot. I made a roster on the site of what mandalay could get. Working on a banner right now, im piss poor with graphics but well see what i can do. Colors still seem a little too bright, i wanted to match the emblem but it does seem a little harsh on the eyes, been trying to get feedback... think ill try mail on fb again and see what i can get. Only ss i got to maybe post was my 20 BOE's before they all faded into oblivion. So if i remember ill throw that one up later, and when i got 80% ill update my xp bar ^^ Alright all well see what comes for the rest of today ^^ hopefully i get out of work early....

Tuesday 03Nov09

Ahh nothing to post lineage wise (meaning ss), taking a small 2 day break. Back on wednesday. Khaine is organizing silents first pledge hunt for thursday, dunno if ill be able to go. We also got a vent server! Courtesy of Khaine. QQ and Eternity will be able to use it too. Its a 25 man server so that should be good for all of us, and will be really usefull for sieges. Team speak fricken blows, some people i cant hear and some i cant turn down, at least on vent i can make adjustments. I hear the original silent royal may be coming back too, not that theres enough people for 2 pledges but just having more people come back would be nice.

Ahh vacation is right around the corner along with lv 53. 52 seems to be one of those roadblock levels. You see a lot of 52 and 55 and few inbetween. Im hoping ill find the motivation at 53 to quickly hit 54 and see that 55 in sight. But with deployments and underways and work and all that i doubt ill see beyond 54 for at least a year. But its all about making friends, whom all you guys better email me when i do end up on a deployment haha! Else ill come back and be like dude wtf!

Probably read some sword of truth, im on book 7, its a boring one so far. Play my mafia wars and zoo and i think i have to harvest today on farmville haha. Ahh always stuff to do. Tomorrow being wednesday means a PT day zzz. But at least i can sit on the bike and read during it. Ill try and post a ss showing like exp and all that. Still working on parts of the site, but i need to be at home to be on lin to get shots and all the little things i want to do. so ill try and do all that when i get home, most of this is me being bored at work and not being able to go home haha so i make mental notes and records. All right hopefully some updates to follow tonight, at least site improvements.

Monday - Morning

Ahh nothing like the first pledge event, No ss's yet as I am at work but ill try and get them up tonight, the wife has been a little zzz over me being on as much as i have been. But its been the only cure for boredom ive had. I did die twice, the first because well, the tank ran outta HP's haha and the baranka went crazy and went after seemingly random people. Sua was kiting it but he got d/c'd and he died. We eventually got it undercontrol with help.

2nd death was due to a miscommunication where Mandalay summoned a Hellvine and Kantor summoned a Barode. I had given kantor all my pots since i really didnt need them, until this happened of course. While kiting barode, i eventually got like 20 adds after me and ran outta mana and no pots zzz. The other sad part was we had 2 fairly new mages, one w/o pledge heal and both w/o grez. So we will have to hunt to get them up to speed.

Anyways, another long day at work, ill post ss's when i get home to show drops and whatnot. Hellvine was the biggest waste, best drop was meteor strike and a dex ammy haha. I think i lost money buying pots and making like 600 mgems for the mages. But all and all it was a fun time. I still want to know how the low level DE never died ><.

hah went to siege the other day, for giran. Had a little fun. Got called to it at the end to help out in the middle of a hunt so meh i really wasnt siege ready but not a big deal i rarely am. i just go to support those in their righteous cause against the evil ones =P (slm and friends)Darkside may have cookies but the good guys(not slm and allies) have punch and pie!

Anyways yea i dont have a lot of siege bookmarks, i siege every now and again. But i did have one death haha and i dont care if i die really or if people want to brag they killed a elf with average gear and rarely does pvp. But i was being TA by iruril and then got stunned by sk8 and wee dead haha. But i looked over to see iruril join me on the ground so all and all not bad. Plus im 52 so its not a great loss. I do play alot but i dont really hunt a lot. I mostly end up sitting and chatting with friends, lineage sometimes is more of a giant AOL chatroom for me haha. Been on a little more lately with the wife being so happy about being pregnant, she hasnt seemed to mind, which is great cause TV sucks and i can only sit and watch lame shows or read for so long. I am looking forward to the kid to be a bit older to do stuff with. But i digress, I didnt take any ss of the siege or deaths, but in the future i need to remember to buff myself with all my buffs haha and wear the correct gear, maybe i should give up some bookmarks for seige ones? i dunno its a good time to siege but with the large imbalance of good vs evil (evil of course being the larger force =P) its always a struggle to get people to go and be organized.

wow wall of text, if you didnt know im at work, bored off my ass. But in the future i do wish to ss both my kills and deaths, personally i never quickly restart, i like people to see that i died and showed up and fought to the end, of course if its crazy ill still venz im not stupid haha =P but sometimes you gotta take what you get.

Friday

Well Not a whole lot, since wednesday its been a lot of seed hunting when i can, I had duty yesterday so i didnt get much time to play. I got my 5% earrings and im on my to getting at least 1 dex shirt. Dont know about doing the bosses, been mostly worthless junk, just like normal bosses. Im sure some people will get some good stuff. Server is so fragmented with so many small pledges, its hard to get a main mage, a main tank and enough support on at the same time.

Problem is drama is inevitable on such as a game like lineage. and theres only so many places each person or group can go to. Its like well i cant go to this pledge cause of X or because they are this or so and so is there. Which i fully understand, theres reasons i wont go to certain pledges unless X or Y is removed or changed. But this leads to the creation of many small pledges which is all fine and dandy if your aspirations are to have fun and level. But to be able to seige and go into the harder places you do need a dedicated larger group of geared people. And while every pledge has that aspiration, eventually something comes up and tears it a sunder.

You can look around and see people who in the last year have been in 3, 4, 5 or more pledges. They switch for whatever there reasons. Personally ive been in 8 pledges.

1 - DragonKnights - Royal quit in beta
2 - ThaDoggs - Royal left to play mage
3 - Forgot the name... and dont remember much about it, but it had a moon symbol
4 - Honorablestorm - Left to siege, but still hunted with them
5 - BloodRage - Eventually stopped sieging went to...
6 - Beyond The Pale - Sieged and Hunted
4 - Honorablestorm - Went back to them due to they were the best group of people up until i quit
7 - 300 - Was a great pledge and loved it but, ahh drama, feelings were hurt, one guy had to be a complete prick and had a wife who talked or tricked into being it, but still was his choice. Either way.... drama.
8 - Silent - Current BP - Royal and senior members are drama free so as long as it stays that way id like to continue to call it home. Really if anything did happen the only pledge left for me is eternity. Nothing against it at all, and im sure with there bigger population it would be a great pledge. but i am a loyalist, feircely loyal once i join until something happens where i can no longer honor that commitment. Same with having a partner in the game, and if i can have both together, then all the better.

Well Hopefully at end of event ill have something cool to post.

Screen shots first haha

Well a few bosses, necromancer and DK were up, i killed necro while sua and nimo killed DK. couple glars and faruuk and a IQ i found while killing fungus. Helped willie take Kent and poor thorrin dropped to 3 elves with TA and a quick destroy. A few others died but dont always have time for SS's. Was a good time. Also go phoe but no drops to me zzz and been hunting TOS. Also made +8 ES but i think in my excitement i forgot to ss that haha but anyways not too much else going on. Theres a couple new members to Silent - Eastwood and BloodRaveMag. Well thats it for now ^^

Ahhhhh sunday

Well as you can see it is sunday, its been a slow week since last post. Muddy went off to read twilight, they are the devil and hasnt been back since haha. Pledge has been rather small and not many on but thats not too big a deal, but been wanting to hunt with someone, hint hint, other then that.... At some ribs and potato soup last night, was awesome, still have a half rack for leftovers. Football today, go 49er's! dont think ill get in much play time.

I do have a class the next 3 days which should open up some daytime playtime but then back to the normal 0730 to 1600 grind. Hopefully they will be quick days, also my PRT is next week zzz.

As for lineage well lets see, found DK and necro, i killed necro while sua and nimo killed DK, all ju nk. Hunting a lot of TOS glitch room and IT5, the occasional FV adventure to kill iffy and whatnot. Maybe a drake here or there, bow really is garbage at this level, but i know it can be awesome later seeing chars like godcat at 70+ killing water spirits with TA so damn fast. 53 soon im at 73.5% or so! Tuesday, well lets see today i got to make love to a cup! haha also went hunting with muddy down in resistance, when i came back she had set her ES on a dead tile and monitor couldnt even help her, said talk to support, with tomorrow being wednesday its probably gone for good. So i went and blew some ES's and made her one as a replacement ^^. At this moment she is off taking a bath haha. Lets see other then that, im up to 70% 53 is around the corner!

3 more days of boring ass class till 430 ugh then back to work, double ugh.

omg been so long

Well its October, last post was August 2nd haha, a lot has happened since then. Lets see, Boss Island came, Got some decent stuff, some of which I no longer have, due to some unfortunate circumstances, but ill get to that in a few.

Well after that went well it was back to hunting and boss killing. Learned some TOI. Really i started hunting NB as i wanted to be water and hunt bow. Sword is awesome for bosses, stuff like drakes and iffy and all that too. But so slow to level. And while wind would help kill a bit faster, NB makes hunting infinitely Cheaper. And since i got some items to replace i needs money hehe ^^.

Well If anyone does read this, they will know i am as of this post no longer a part of 300. Drama led to my leaving and if you really want details i will tell you in person if i feel you need to know. But suffice to say i joined as silents first member, with khaineII following immediately afterwards.

Also since the game as in game weddings, i too have a new partner to hunt with.... Mrs Muddywater! ^_^

Ill make sure to post screen shots either shortly following this post or in the near future. I will have to collage some drops and find some nice ones from the past 2 months, but i do hope to update again regularly.

Well its sunday...

Im sure i have a few screen shots of bosses, all junk, got phoe, aq and something else yesterday hehe. Been doing some random hunting and and im a little over 34% into lv 52. Been so slow with sword, but its nice to be able to actually hurt/kill bosses. Stupid tough skin is the worst thing ever, that and soft ac. Ill probably post some SS later but other then that i got to run some errands.

Gotta get a haircut, been reading and whatnot. Watching a few movies here and there on amc fx and stuff like that. Oh i really should update this when it happens, since i can never remember what i really did, thank god for screen shots and dates haha. Alright im off for now, Hopefully i put something up later =P

Mon and Tuesday

Well another day or two of hunting, its currently maintenance time zzz.

watched a horrible movie called blood diamond and one of the greatest movies ever goonies!! And a bunch of midget shows with the wife, damn she loves those shows. I think they are stupid and nothing special but whatever makes her happy. Also been re-reading harry potter for fun, im on the 4th book. Ohh twilight zone is on think ill watch that.

That 2nd giant worm pic was great 2 fire elves ftw! I thought it was easier then the 1st one with a 65 knight and us 2 elves. It splashed us a hell of a lot less. But i got my cloak and made it +5, i dont know if ill try for 7 maybe after event if i get some ant wings then it will be whatever haha.

Well i think thats it for now. Other then that just the standard DI hunts and whatnot and tv with the wife. so if anything else comes up ill be back ^^

Sunday!

Well lets since since my last post i had some great french onion soup, went and saw transformers 2 (wife hated it and wants a puppy ><) Had something special happen on Saturday but shh its a secret to everybody (zelda ftw) and umm today i got to kill a new boss for me, Maino Shaman.

We were off hunting in FV, killing ifrits and whatnot and decided lets check out the dungeon. It was open so me, queen and purple paid the 10k and went looking around. There was no Diamond golem so we went to next area after killing everything we saw. And within a few screens up pops...



Took us about 3 mins but ta da!



Not much but that was worth 100k and was nice to kill something new.

Anyways more to come but other then that not much else really going on. Watched some movies weee goonies haha and some other crap. Time to go see whats going on in the Lin world

Thoughts on KEN Pledges

Well first of all this is my peronal view, what i have gleamed in a short few months.

300 - My pledge good people its small tight knit. There are a few people who arnt on much and i dont know too well but queen, kantor and raven are great people. I do wish PD and Demonchild were on more. Khaine is cool and kirra is funny as hell. Willie can get rather annoying but his heart is in the right place.

SLM - Biggest pledge on ken from what ive seen. Definetly the dominate force. Ive never liked the pledge and thier members even before i had quit. They seem very rude and elitest which i detest. Ive seen a few nice people in the pledge as most pledges have people i like, but theres too many that are as i said before.

QQ/Delta - Originally a pledge i remember not liking either, even though they are now our ally against SLM. Dont really know many of them, mostly just the couple who left 300 to siege and hunt with them. They seem alright and seem to hate SLM with a passion. Ive been told both are from taiwan so i wonder why they hate eachother so much...

Rings - I remember this pledge being a bunch of smaller ones and used to think they were good guys, but they seem to now be SLM's main allies, so i think less of them. There are a few that ive met that are really nice people but theres a few in there that ive been told to avoid like the plague. Mainly one CJ. Havnt had much interaction with her but ive been told that she loves to spread around everyones personal information.

Silver Radiance - A supposed neutral pledge, Until recently they were anything but. A number of there pledge would leave and siege under SLM banner then return. Which in the eyes of anyone with at least 1 braincell would realize isnt neutral. But it seems those people left and formed Linstyle which ill bring up in a bit. Not really many people in this pledge that really seem nice, and it seems they still have loyalties to SLM though im sure they would deny it, but they sure do seem to defend them....

LinStyle - Former SR and im sure other people, led by the D-Bag sk8. I also recently heard his concubine who was sua's former wife is with him and now siegeing against us. I dont really know her, only heard things but for some reason id love to hear about her getting ended. Basically this is a lapdog pledge of SLM.

Eternity - One of our allies who occasionally siege, they seem like the only other pledge that i would fit in. Good people, less drama and are against slm. Dont know too many of them but they are curteous and nice.

Angel Club - Dont really know too much about them, mostly non-english but they seemed like they used to have a truce with SLM and even recently helped siege them. Though sometimes it seems like they may not all be legit but who knows, maybe they just cant say thanks when i buff them hehe.

There are other pledges but i either dont see enough of them, or they talk enough shit or siege to really talk about. These are just current thoughts and opinions from what ive gathered in oh lets see 3 months? So who knows but well see, this is just how i see it for now ^^. Hopefully with the some distant server merges, we will get some more people and hopefully be able to knock SLM down a notch. It's funny how high and mighty they are now but i used to see them attempt to show up to a siege back in the day and just get owned. But i guess when enough people quit, and people have less choices, certain pledges are bound to come to power. Just wish it was a better group of people, could be worse though, there were pledges like westknight and boss who were probably worse assholes.

Friday

Well Didnt get too much yesterday either, Demon was up and we didnt even know it. We were aoe killing large groups on 8 and then hear sword hunter saying demons up lol, apparently he was in a corner we didnt really go to. 4 lines of junk, not even 1 adena. anyways its friday.

Yay for double XP, Boo for all the bitching and whining. lol mostly from troje. And of course theres plenty of lag. And NC does the standard that they always do, like every other online game company, pass blame on the users. So there is some bitching to be had, but to hear it all day does get old. Either play through it, or dont play.

One conversation came up that kinda urked me. A convo about bots lol, Im sure theres been people in almost every pledge, though some more then others that have botted. As im sure there are legitimate players out there. Its easy to spot bots and ive seen my share in the last few months since i returned, none in my pledge, as there is way too much pledge chat going on lol, else they are some really smart bots. Now thats not to say they havent in the past or past members, whos really to say.

But the most ive seen have been in the asian pledges, nothing against asians, a lot of my best friends are since i grew up in the san fran area. And not to say others dont. SLM just happens to be one of the ones that is a major player on the server and we have seen botting (drop items and watch them run back and forth as you pick it up).

I thought most of SLM's lapdogs left SR and formed LinStyle but it seems a few still remain. Or are at least defending them. SR id say is the shadiest pledge on KEN. I may not like SLM but at least they are an obvious enemy. SR would claim neutrility then have a bunch of members join slm then return after a siege, which does not make them neutral. But then they all left and formed lapdogs err linstyle =P which in my eyes slightly redeemed them.

A pledge should state where they lie and stick with it. Anyways more on pledges in my eyes later ^^

Wednesday

Another great set of KG rings, 800 wieght my ass, ahh well, rotc ropc and 10% rings still. They need better rings out there. Ive almost been tempted to get 2 cursed emerald rings for 50 more health at the cost of 20% MR just for something useful to have while hunting.

Didnt really get to any bosses yesterday, watched phoe end but i was eatting dinner and by time i got there, it was over. Hunted some DVC, drakes, caspa and Dark elder. All garbage. But thats nothing new really. Got a bunch of zels from DI.

Oh i did lag die to Right twin, but i came back and got the 2 bastards, czel was best drop of course. =/

But meh its not a big deal, im not really in a level mode, maybe on friday with double xp. Its all about having fun right now. But damn i need to make some more money...

Tuesday

Yes i know its wednesday morning but i didnt have time last night. Wasnt a bad day for lineage.

Got to kill the following yesterday ^^.

Also had the standard DI drops, lotsa zels and dais, nothing super special. I was just happy to pull a bzel and bkat off phoe wee. The caspa shot is only there cause it was a bzel, that bastard group usually gives me crap, and often caspa himself is like dark elder, a big fat zero.

Theres a few drops missing cause swordhunter had left party to check AG and some people didnt make the phoe party. All in all it was a pretty fun day, maybe they will drop something worth a crap next time hehe. oh and then theres this, it made me laugh...

He ended to a water elemental which we killed not long after that died in like 5 hits, so close... poor guy. LoL not really die bastard die! o.o

Alright im off to play hopefully the KG rings will be good for this week, last weeks were garbage.

monday monday

Well its been a fairly decent monday, i started 2 weeks vacation so no work today! YaY!

Got in a little lineage earlier, did some FI made some xp, no drops but thats nothing really new either hehe. Hopefully Soul of Flame will drop so I can see how it will do with asword. Was talking with DeathsQueen and it seems Myself on Rick, Her on Queen and Purple, Ravensky and Kantor will be our BI group. Which i think is perfect. No DE but 2 awesome knights ^^.

Oh i bought A ROTC too, im pretty happy with it and gave all my bteles to Queen ^^. Easy to just keep 100 tele scrolls and whatnot. Now i dont feel guilty bouncing between drakes and other places often. Ive always wanted one since 2001, i even killed elders in hoping maybe someday it would drop and caspa group. DVC 6 hasnt been nice to me, though once i was in party with Lucky21, i was in Giran cross, he was down there hunting and got one. I was jealous haha and then a little mad when he said it was his 2nd =P ah well 3.5mil for it wasnt bad.

Took a nice nap today haha like almost 3 hours so im sure ill be up late , hopefully ill get some more lin time in tonight, maybe hit up 24 or something. Read some Harry Potter haha, been reading through them all again, though it was making me tired and led to my nap. Anyways its been a day, maybe a good movie is on...

About My Elf

Well lets see. This is actually the 2nd RickHunter. The first was started in beta back in March 2001. When i went to bootcamp and then to school, by time i got my computer and internet i learned my account had been banned. Apparently someone got my account, erased the chars, made new ones then got the account banned. On the brightside my chars name was again available.

So in September i remade rick as a 18 con elf. I went through a few pledges, TheDawgs, HonorableStorm, BloodRage and Beyond The Pale. In December of 2004 i decided i needed something new and left for wow. Wow was fun but i missed the people i had met in lineage. I didnt blow any of my items but gave them away to the best friend i had made and still hope they were put to good use.

When i came back in april 2009 i had nothing, i knew no one and didnt know exactly what had changed. I asked around for guilds on the boards and managed to find one. They were some of teh nicest and very trusting people. They gave me a full set of items and starter mats to get back into things. I quickly built my own items and returned those that were lent to me. I still have a lot of work to do. As i only have -55 base AC. But its a work in progress and i have BI coming up. They are some really great people, are really fun and are very anti cheating. Which some of them go a little overboard in their accusations but they mean well.

We are often outnumbered, have lower levels and maybe outgeared. But we have spirit and are on the side of good. We have fun and dont take things quite so seriously. Ill save my rants for what i think of the other pledges for another day but theres a little bit about me

Well had me some In-N-Out today, its the devil but sooo good, and its like a 2 min drive away. I'm off to go buy a book of names so me and my wife can argue over what to name our kids that we hope to have someday. She has a few picked out but none that i like. so well see what i can find...

DK!

Well i was off killing caspa and went to 5th floor and low and behold there he was. Hes been pretty hard to find but of course when i find him no one is on. Well it was late and there were a few on test. So i let QQ(Delta) know about it, as id rather see them get it then let it go to waste on some pledge like SLM.





Maybe someone will be on next time =P But BI is around the corner and im sure will drop better eithe way ^^

DE Tunic

Probably my best drop since being back. In terms of rarity. I waited too long to try and sell it and since its now dropping on BI event i took what i could get for it hehe

I have since killed her many times, gotten a lot of wind rings, 1 Belt of Soul and countless elf mats hehe. But she is easy to check and kill and i get decent amount for selling the ori plates ^^

Well i decided to make this. Been thinking about it for a little while. Ill have some lin and real life in here. Its more for me then anyone else but if anyone does like it then yay! hehe

Some warning though,I use a lot of explitives and speak my mind, thats the military for ya hah. but yea hope you like it, cause I know I will
